# Overview

Adding app and robot software release notes. 

## Test Plan and Hands on Testing


## Changelog
- added short descriptions for protocol viz (app) and the new
`set_empty()` method (RS)
- describe feature improvements: camera settings, the thermocycler's
`ramp_rate` param, return tip with partial tip pickup, etc.
- added Quick Transfer exporting protocols as .py and not .json to 8.8
release notes, because we missed it last time
