I didn't feel to put it as an issue, because it's too minor. It seems that current GTK colour scheme update script doesn't account for custom icon themes, and resets it whenever the colours are updated. It would be really nice if it wasn't the case.

That's also the case for custom themes.
(Set using gsettings)

Same can be said for qtct settings.
At this point I think it would be good to add some fields in cli.json, that would handle standard user-defined settings, which will be kept when changing the scheme. Otherwise, make scheme changes have less impact on other settings.
